Siggi's Icelandic Style Skyr Strained Non-Fat Yogurt
![]() Reasons why I love Siggi's: Comments: Siggi's sounds really good! Where is it sold?? I don't worry so much about the type of sugar as the amount, personally, but the creamy description sounds too good to pass up! Comments: They sell them at Whole Foods in most areas. Comments: Siggi's is wonderful. I discovered it last week and had to email the company to tell them the orange & ginger yogurt was the best yogurt I have had in a long time. Love the thickness and the fact it is mildly sweet because of agave..not sugar. Good stuff! Comments: I'll have to try some. Since my upcoming flight from Bawlmer to Boston to Amsterdam stops in Reykjavik, I can probably get some at their peensy airport, too. Comments: I am currently devouring my first container of Siggi's Skyr, the pommegranate and passion fruit flavor. I bought it at Columbus Circle Whole Foods. This product is unbelievably creamy and thick. I generally don't eat dairy products but sometimes crave the comfort of creaminess. Siggi's skyr is so creamy it's hard to beleive there's no fat in it. It's so thick it retains its shape and won't budge off a spoon held upside down. The flavor is mild and delicate, with a touch of tang. And it's got 20% the daily value of calcium and 16 g of protein per serving. My goodness, this stuff is delectable. Comments: Siggi's is awesome, but the $3 price tag is going to add up with the amount of yogurt I usually eat... Comments: I am eating my first Siggi's Yogurt - Orange & Ginger and I rushed to the computer to thank Siggi for this most wonderful yogurt! Unbelievable! The best. Comments: Siggi's is really good, but 2.99 per container is a little bit too much. Does anybody have any idea where I can get something similar but a lot cheaper? Comments: Greek yogurt is similar but not quite the same. Siggi's is the only Icelandic style sold in the US. Comments: My boyfriend's family is originally from Iceland.....we learned how to make skyr at home and were trying to find a way to make it in large quantities to sell it in Canada.......looks like Siggi beat us to the punch, but while it is a bit messy to make at home it costs way less than $3 a container.
